Strong candidates have a deep understanding of general management and a profound knowledge within at least one specific field of management, such as economics, marketing, or human resource management, as well as prominent skills in learning methodology, presentation, and process leadership. It is required that you speak and write English very well and potentially know one or two additional languages conversationally.

The firm’s culture is collegial, and helpful insights are more important than titles. Nonetheless, we do use titles to convey our roles to client organizations and to mark the progress of a consultant’s work with the firm. A simple comparison of these roles is noted below:

Intern – graduate student working full- or part-time while attending school

Analyst – entry level for new consultants; may lack a graduate degree if very capable
Senior Analyst – field-proven analyst with greater responsibility

Associate – entry level for experienced senior executives
Senior Associate – field-proven associate with greater responsibility

Consultant – experienced professional consultant; may work independently with considerable latitude
Senior Consultant – more-experienced professional consultant; given major project responsibilities
